The project includes an advisory team with expertise in agricultural, water and energy management in the Willamette River Basin. The team will gather for a one-day meeting, each of the four project years, and consists of about 30 people. Advisory team members may also provide technical information in follow up emails and conversations with research team members. The advisory team members are not research subjects, rather they are the project's advisors, informing model development and ensuring that research incorporates plausible assumptions that reflect the current concerns and experiences of regional resources managers.
The first advisory team meeting was held in November 2018.
